26 February 2016 Chinese New Year

Our chapter meeting on the 26th was the last one before the conference. We started off with Aunty Naomi’s devotion about the Nicene Creed, but instead of games, we had a time of prayer. Then we split into YSG and BPS groups to rehearse speeches, and we came back together and presented our Chinese speeches. After lunch, YSG came back for Limited Prep. It was a special meeting as it was our last time meeting at Evangel BP Church, and we had some thank-you gifts for them, as well as some prayer.

In BPS, they learnt about blocking, and practiced their speeches. In YSG, we also made our speeches, and talked about the conference and tournaments.

When we merged into a big group again, we all gave our speeches about Chinese New Year. The speeches were all very fascinating, and everyone learnt something about Chinese New Year.

Thoughts on this week's chapter meeting

I enjoyed the chapter meeting like every single one I went to. It was great fun as usual! I was glad to see the pastor who let us use the church premises. ~Isaac

I think that the ICC meeting was very good. But I felt very nervous because it was my first time giving a Chinese speech. At the same time, I was also looking forward to hearing others speak. ~Yong En
