27 November 2015 Chapter BBQ

On the 27th of November, our chapter had a barbecue at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4. Some people who were interested to join the chapter were invited. We started off with a quick game to break the ice, led by Uncle Weng Pheng. After that, the chapter members presented their speeches. We then proceeded on to dinner and the barbecue that was prepared by the capable fathers. After dinner, some kids played games together, while others just talked. Overall, everyone had fun, and it was a good get-together.

What some chapter members/guests had to say:

I enjoyed the gathering very much overall. It was fun to get to know new friends! My favourite part in the planned session is the games and speeches, though I enjoyed the unplanned soccer session the most. All of the games were quite creative, and I liked the first game where you sit according to your birthday. It was fun to try to communicate without talking! As for the speeches, I thought that all of you were very creative to think about the subjects. The food was not too bad. I liked the barbecue chicken wing! ~Isaac

I think that the barbecue was a good way to introduce others to ICC, and also a fun gathering with friends. I did not especially like the games, but I think that the speeches went well, although it was hard to project my voice because of the wind and traffic noise in the background. ~Owen
